Three questions always come up. Here are clear answers, and the form to get on the list.
Is anything available?
You can apply at any time: there is no deadline. Units open up as members move out, and availability depends on the unit type. Signing up does not guarantee a unit, but it puts you on the list.
Do I qualify?
The Selection Rules set density guidelines: the size of the unit must match the size of the household.
- 2-bedroom unit household of 2 or more
- 3-bedroom unit household of 3 or more
- 4-bedroom unit household of 4 or more
Selection criteria: participation in co-op life, time on the list, and household need, assessed transparently by the Selection Committee.
How do I apply?
Fill out this form. Your application is sent to the Selection Committee.
What happens next?
Here is what follows once you send your application. Timelines depend on which units free up.
- We acknowledge that we received your application.
- Your application is kept for two years. At the end of that period, we email you to ask whether you want to renew it or withdraw it.
- The Selection Committee does not call you in automatically: a meeting is offered only when your profile matches a unit that frees up.
